Mrs. Donna (Guy) Eaton of Flat River died Tuesday, Sept.3, at the Belleview Nursing Home, near Caledonia, being 87 years of age. She was a daughter of the late Perry and Eliza Williams. Her husband, Guy Eaton, preceeded her in death in 1962. The survivors are; a brother in law John Sevening of Flat River, a niece Mrs Elmo Silvey of Bismark and other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at two o'clock at the Raymond Caldwell and Sons Funeral Chapel in Flat River. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, with arrangements under the direction of the Caldwell Funeral Home. The body will be in state this evening at the Caldwell Chapel after six o'clock.

John Weley Williams, son of the late Perry & Liza Williams was born in Madison County, MO. on Oct 18 1870 and died of a heart attack at the City Hospital in St. Louis on Nov 11, 1951 age 81 years 23 days. On Dec 19 1900 he was united in marriage to Miss Bertha Wollen and they were the parents of six children, two of whom died in infancy. His wife preceeded him in death on Jan 8, 1938. Surviving are four
children: Mrs Marie Seels, Mrs. Louisa Mitchell, Toney Williams, and Mrs Lucille Williams, all of St. Louis, two sisters, Mrs John Sevening and Mrs Guy Eaton of Flat River, also a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The Williams family resided in Esther for many years before moving to St. Louis. Funeral services were held on Nov 14, at 1:30 o'clock at the Crogan Funeral Chapel on Manchester Ave., and burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Sandra L. Davis, 60, of Park Hills, passed away Nov. 15, 2000, at her residence. She was born Aug. 22, 1940, at Jefferson City, daughter of the late Edward H. and Goldie E. 'Cox' Blake. Also preceded by one sister, Martha Jo Greer.
She taught first grade at Central School in Park Hills for 10 years.
Survived by husband, John Davis of Park Hills; three daughters: Lisa Parker and husband, J.T. Parker of Wichita, KS; Lori Davis of Urbana, IL and Sarah Davis of Pittsburgh, PA; two grandchildren, Nathan and Andy Parker of Wichita, KS; and other relatives and friends.

Kimberly Ann Wamble Altland, 39, of St. Charles, passed away at her home on Nov. 16, 2000, after a yearlong battle with cancer. She was born March 27, 1961, in Bonne Terre [St. Francois County]. Her father, Melvin E. Wamble and her nephew, Craig Thomas Combs, preceded Kimberly in death.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Wamble Dygert of St. Charles; her husband, Thomas Altland and two sons, Zachary Thomas and Jacob Alexander, ages 8 and 5. She is also survived by her two sisters, Connie Hahn (Ken) of St. Charles; Dee Courtois (John) of Oakville; one brother, Michael E. Wamble (Nancy) of Kirkwood; nephews: Cary L. Combs (Kris) and Jonathon (Chris) Courtois; nieces: Kendra Hahn, Rebecca, Elizabeth and Katherine Wamble; Alicia, Alexandria and Adrienne Courtois and one great-niece, Karly Combs.

Before his retirement he was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He also served his nation in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He had been a minister and evangelist for 65 years.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Glenwood (Bud) Brown and Lewis Brown; by two sisters, Wilma Brewer and Irene (Sis) Myers and by one grandson, Stephen Thornberry.
Before his retirement, Mr. Brown worked in the construction industry with the Carpenter's Local #1795. He served his nation with the U.S. Army during World War II in the southern Philippines.
He is survived by his wife, Mynaun (Carr) Brown of Farmington. He was previously married to Elma Retta McCrorey, to which four children were born: two sons, Richard W. Brown of Arnold and Donnie L. Brown and wife, Sharen of Desloge; two daughters, Anna (Mrs. James) Thornberry of High Ridge and Carol Rude of Jonesboro, AR; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Survived by husband, Robert Thornton of Imperial; two sons, Cledith 'Ike" Wakefield of Ironton and William Guitar of Farmington; five step-sons: Gordon Thornton of DeSoto, Bruce Thornton of Hillsboro, Steven Thornton of Festus, Timothy Thornton of Roselle, Paul Thornton of High Ridge; one brother, Leo Camden of Farmington; six grandchildren: Tony and Jennifer Guitar, Shawn Wakefield, Angela Pettus, Dennis and Billy Beard; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday at 4:30-8 p.m. at the Horton-Wampler Memorial Chapel in Park Hills. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Horton-Wampler Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eddie Bone officiating. Burial in Hillview Memorial Gardens.

Also preceded by husband, Odas H. Loughary; two sons, Harry and Harvey Loughary; two sisters, Mary Wallen and Virginia Bell; three brothers: Charles, Maurice and Smith Wallen.
She is survived by two sisters, Charlotte Clemente and Clara Wheeler and her husband Frank; one aunt, Carrie Crocker; two sons, Albert Loughary and wife, Linda and Alvis Loughary and wife, Evelyn; two daughters, Lois Beard and her husband, Mike, and Alice Prier; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and lots of friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. at Etson Cemetery in Belleview.

Glenda Loralee Gibson of Park Hills passed away Nov. 3, 2000, at Des Peres Hospital, Des Peres. She was born Oct. 13, 1923, in Wortham, to the late Clarence Elza and Hazel Alma (Bradley) Harris. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lindell; two sisters, Priscilla and Louise; an infant son, James Everett Gibson, Jr.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Park Hills. Glenda was a very special woman who spent her entire life helping others. She was particularly devoted to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, James Everett Gibson of Park Hills; two sons and daughters-in-law, James Thomas and Kim (Pecaut) Gibson of Park Hills and Lyndell Dale and Carol (Horn) Gibson of Colorado Springs, CO; two granddaughters, Ashleigh Jade and Dylan Caitlyn Gibson of Park Hills; two grandsons, Zachary Lyn and Nathan James Gibson of Colorado Springs; a sister and brother-in-law, Alma and Clarence (Shorty) Rhodes; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Denzel B. (Bud) and Marilyn Harris of Terre du Lac and Leon and Doris Harris of West Branson; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5-9 p.m. at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Horton-Wampler Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rick Wadley officiating. Burial will follow at Big River Cemetery. Memorials: American Diabetes Association.
