She was married October 16, 1901 to George S. Wininger and until the removal of the family to Flat River about three years ago they resided in Bonne Terre.
To them were born six children, one of whom, Namoi, died two years ago, the living are Clinton, age 16; Emma, Age 14; Leola, Age 11; Freddy, Age 9; Georgie, Age 2.
Mrs. Wininger was a member of the Baptist church and during her girlhood and womanhood was known to a large circle of friends and acquaintances and who was ever ready with words of sympathy and deeds of mercy not only for those she knew but for the stranger within our gates.
The funeral was held Wednesday at the home at Flat River at 1:30, the [Rev.] Baily of the Baptist church. The remains were then accompanied to Bonne Terre by a host of Flat River friends where a short service assisted in by Rev. Bays was held at the Bonne Terre cemetery and the remains were laid tenderly at rest.
The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Wininger and Mrs. Wininger's mother, Mrs. Cooksey, will join the Star in sympathy to the bereaved one.
