He retired from Pet Milk Co.
Mr. Aiken was a member of First Church of God and Greeneville Moose Lodge No. 692.
He was an airplane mechanic in World War II, serving in the U.S. Air Force from April 1943 until December 1945.
He is survived by his wife: Flora Goode Aiken; his children and their spouses: Michelle Aiken and her husband, Roy McCoig, of Knoxville, Lester "Speedy" and Billie Ruth Aiken and Carolyn and John Eatmon, all of Greeneville, and Regina and Lonnie Hensley of West Virginia; his grandchildren: Jacob McCoig, Matthew McCoig, Eva Fields, Stephen Aiken, Kent Aiken, Todd Aiken, Jimmy Hensley, Jeffery Hensley, Angie Mount, Gwendolyn Penny, and Charles Penny Jr.; 17 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a sister: Martha Dunn of Greeneville; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Carl Goode Jr. and his wife, Betty Goode, of Greeneville, David and Bernice Goode of Morristown, John Runyon of Georgia, and Benny Turner, and J.G. Conduff of Greeneville; special nephews: Jack Henry Jr., Kenneth Haskell Henry, Bill Conduff, and Wayne Conduff; and special nieces: Margie Bridges, Betty Ann Foulks, Wanda Younger, Carla Goode, Teresa Dykes, and Lisa Knight.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Sabrina Aiken; his parents: Roy and Minnie Belle Aiken; three sisters: Mamie Aiken, Margarette Aiken, and Mary Conduff; and two brothers: Sam Aiken and Frank Aiken.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Darrell Sovine and Pastor Gerald Rudd will officiate.
Interment will follow in Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. Veterans of Foreign Wars, Andrew Johnson Post 1990, American Legion Post 64, and Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside rite.
Pallbearers will be Kent Aiken, Stephen Aiken, Todd Aiken, Chris Fields, Paul Foulks, Bill Conduff and Wayne Conduff.

Peggy Fillers of Old Stage Road in Kingsport died Saturday morning in Kingsport.
She was born Peggy Pickering and was raised on West Irish Street in Greeneville by her grandmother, Bess Dodd Goode, whom the family stated "she loved and adored until her (her grandmother's) passing in 1972.
Momma, as Peggy referred to her, instilled the sense of appreciating the community and the people within it - in addition to many other valuable lessons.
Having married early and raising four children, Peggy entered the work force later in life.
She worked a number of jobs.
For years, she worked for Pet Dairy in Greeneville; but the family said, this was only until she "found her passion . being a real estate agent."
The family continued, Peggy gained great pleasure and happiness from her final career"; some of her friends she had for a lifetime. Others she found behind a deck of cards at a bridge table later in life.
In both cases, her friends were important to her, and she never forgot them.
Mrs. Fillers was a member of many organizations and clubs within Greeneville. These included: the GFWC Andrew Johnson Club, Youth Builders of Greeneville Inc. (with whom she volunteered with Head Start), the Women of the Moose, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the National Association of Realtors, the Tennessee Association of Realtors, the Northeast Tennessee Association of Realtors and numerous bridge clubs.
Survivors include: her husband: Frank Fillers; four children and their spouses: Patricia (Dalton) and John Riblett of Knoxville; Bill Reynolds Jr. of Lenoir City; and Doug and Ardell Reynolds, and Belinda Tweed, all of Greeneville; her grandchildren, whom the family stated "she adored" and their spouses: Constance and Kem Mullins of Atlanta, Trey and Bree Reynolds of Murfreesboro, David Dalton of Knoxville, Aaron Tweed of Jonesborough, Phillip Riblett of Nashville, Sean Riblett of California, Nick Riblett of Knoxville, Kevin Chapman of Greeneville, and Kari Campbell of Greeneville; her great-grandchildren: Dalton Morris of Atlanta, Trinity Reynolds and Zion Reynolds, both of Murfreesboro; and Garrett Campbell of Greeneville; her brother: Gerald "Jerry" Verran of Texas and his children; a brother-in-law and his wife: Blaine and Peggy Crum of Greeneville, and their children and grandchildren; and a special friend of the family: Tammy Hill of Lenoir City.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 8 o'clock this evening at Rose Hill Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Marvin Dobson officiating.
A private interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Trey Reynolds, David Dalton, Aaron Tweed, Kevin Chapman, Nick Riblett, Douglas Crum, and Wade Gilliam.

She was the widow of Major Oscar Granville Jones. They were married June 6, 1945, at the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C. by the Rev. Dr. Peter Marshall.
Mrs. Jones retired from the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Co. of Virginia,
She was a member of Cedar Creek Presbyterian Church.
She was an avid quilter and bridge player as long her health permitted.
Mrs. Jones was a daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth (Bower) Thomas Harris Foreman and was preceded in death by four brothers: John Foreman, Hugh Foreman, Thomas Foreman Jr., and Steve Foreman; and four sisters: Marie Goode, Georgia Foreman, Suella Kite, and Edith Neas.
Survivors include a stepson and his wife: Harry and Jacqueline Jones, and a stepgrandson: Richard Jones all of Paris, France; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Sunday at Kiser Funeral Home.
A memorial service will follow at 4 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Harrell Cobb and Dr. James R. McKinney will officiate.
Interment will be in Culpeper National Cemetery in Culpeper, Va., at a later date.
It was Mrs. Jones' request that her body be cremated.

She was the widow of Jessie James Mowell.

Survivors include his wife: Nettie Neas Winslow; a daughter: Jamie Winslow of the home; a son and daughter-in-law: Stanley and Brenda Winslow of Greeneville; a grandson: Stephen Winslow of Greeneville; a sister and brother-in-law: Frances and James Love of Chuckey; a niece; and six nephews.
He was a son of the late Rev. W.C. and Sarah Hite Winslow and was preceded in death by his stepmother: Susie Culberson Winslow; a brother: Milton "Koke" Winslow; and two sisters: Mrs. Mary Winslow Dotson and Mrs. Clara Winslow Goode.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at Jeffers Mortuary.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Asbury UM Church with interment in GraceLand Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Charles Stark and the Rev. Mike Feely will officiate.
Active pallbearers will be Steve Love, David Love, Les Love, Bill B. Brown, Jimmy Jaynes, Tommy Love, Darvin Kilday, and Tommy Creamer.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Men's Bible Class and the LaRue Sunday School Class of Asbury Church.

William Doak Ramsey, 81, of West Street in Greeneville, died Wednesday evening at Laughlin Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
Mr. Ramsey, born in Greene County, was the son of the late Elbert Alexander and Carrie Hawkins Ramsey.
He was a veteran of World War II and served in Kobe, Japan.
Most of his adult life he lived in Dayton, Ohio, where he worked as a licensed journeyman plumber for a number of years.
He was then employed at Miami Valley Hospital and Grandview Hospital in as maintenance supervisor for 17 years.
He then pursued a career in real estate, studying real estate law, and real estate principles and practices at the University of Dayton.
After retiring from real estate, he returned to Greene County.
Survivors include his wife: Marie Connor Ramsey; his daughter and son-in-law: Ella Joyce and Gary Durr of Dallas; his son: Donald Wayne Ramsey of Columbus, Ohio; two grandsons; two great-granddaughters; a brother: Robert Harold Ramsey of Barboursville, W.Va.; several nephews, including a special nephew and his wife, Curtis and Edith Ramsey, who "stood beside him throughout his lengthy illness and his last days," the family said.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 51 years: Dorotha Wayne Horner Ramsey; one stepdaughter: Elizabeth Jane Connor; two brothers: Walter Clark (Bud) Ramsey, and Jay Ramsey; and two sisters: Ida Belle Keister and Ella Kate Beckett.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 o'clock this evening at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
A private graveside service will be held at GraceLand Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dr. Dan Donaldson officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Wayne Ramsey, Phil Carter, Robert Harold Ramsey, Curtis Ramsey, Gary Durr, Paul Long, Bobby G. Ramsey, Dr. Walter L. Mason, Robert R. (Noah) Roark, Harry Holt, Dr. Michael Hartsell and Charles Dawson.

She was a daughter of the late Major and Martha Tweed Gosnell and was preceded in death by two grandchildren: Carol Ann Baines and Larry Mike Hutton Jr.; six brothers: Johnny Gosnell, Garfield Gosnell, Hubert Gosnell, Lloyd Gosnell, Charlie Gosnell, and Gail Gosnell; and two sisters: Helen Gosnell and Lucy Maude Tweed.
The family received friends from 6-9 Sunday evening at Jeffers Mortuary and will receive other times at the homes of Mary Jackson and Patricia Baines.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the mortuary chapel with interment in River Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Jeff Gibson and the Rev. Edward Haney will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Gosnell, Clayton Gosnell, Charles Gosnell, Chris Baines, Tim Foshie, and Mark Teal.

On this 3rd day of September 1832 personally appeared in open Court before the honorable Samuel Powel an Judge of the Circuit Court of Law & Equity for Greene County now sitting John Harmon a resident of said County and State aged eighty two years who being first duly sworn according to Law doth on his oath make the following declaration in order to obtain the credit of the act of Congress passed June 7, 1832. That in the year 1777 he was a citizen of Bedford County, State of Virginia and volunteered under Capt Thomas Dudley, a resident of said county and akd (acting?) Leutinat (Carter?) for three months to go against the British at Williamsburg, Virginia and was xxxxxx at New London the County Seat of said county and was marched to Williamsburg where we joined the main army under General Washington who had drove the British Army from that post two days previous to the arrival of the sd (said) Captain Thomas Dudleys Company. He state that on his arrival at Williamsburg he was placed under the command of Colonel Davis and Major Sharp, the same who was some time after broken of his commission for getting drunk and neglecting his duty. He states that shortly after the departure of the British from Williamsburg Washington's Army was marched to the north and he remained at Williamsburg under the command of his same officers until discharged by this said Capt Dudley after having served a term of three months. He states he believes he volunteered in July 1777 and was discharged at Williamsburg in October. he states that during his stay at Williamsburg he with eighteen others under the command of Capt. Dudley attacked a Bote (boat) at the fork of the Rivers below Williamsburg with seventeen men on hand took the men on bord (board) prisoners though without firing a gun and with lead (?) they had on hand xxxxxx xxxxx xxxxxx it was understood they were going up the River after provisions xxxxx for the British Army. He states that in the March previous to the surrender of Lord Cornwallis he volunteered under Capt _____ and Leutenant McClung to go to greenbryer County, Virginia to go against the Shawnees Indians. He states that when he arrived at Greenbryer he was placed under the command of Colonel Hamilton and was confined principally to the neighborhood & forts in sd Countys to wit Fort Hamilton Fort Yacaim (?) & Fort Keeney where he remained for a term of twelve months in an United States service to guard the frontier country as an Indian spy he states that he was discharged verbally by his sd Leutenant McClung. He states that he received a written discharge for his first term as aforesaid which discharge has been casualty (?) lost and also that he volunteered the last time in the County of Bedford Virginia He further states that xxxxx his Service as a Volunteer sixteen days under Captain Cotrral (?) against the Tores at New London in Virginia and that he also Volunteered in Bedford County making in all Sixteen (?) months which he was in actual service and that he knows of no person whose testimony he can procure who can testify to his service. The xxxxxx relinguishes his every claim whatever to a pension or annuity escept the present and declars that his name is not on the Pension Role of any of any states xxxx he states that there is no resident (?) minister of the gospel in his neighborhood xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx subscribed this day and year aforesaid Isaac Harmon, John Balch, and John Harmon all residing in the County of Greene and state of Tennessee as having certify that we are well acquainted with John Harmon who has subscribed and sworn to the above xxxxx that we believe him to be eighty two years of age. That he is reputed and believed in the neighborhood where he resides to have been a soldier of the Revolution and that we concur in that opinion. Sworn to and subscribed this 3rd September, 1832. V. Sevier Isaac Harmon and John Balch And the said court do hereby declare their opinion after the investigation of the matter and after putting this interragtorus prescribed by the War Department, that the above named applicant was a Revolutionary soldier and served as he states, and the Court further certifies that it appears to him that Isaac Harmon and John Balch who has signed the same are resident citizens in said County and are credable persons and that
their statement is entitled to credit.
