The below was written on January 1996, by Josef Haarhoff, in Eversberg, Westphalia (Westfalen), Germany.
Stammtafel der Familie Dröge in Eversberg.
Im alten Eversberger Hofbuch von 1480 ist der Name Dröge noch nicht verzeichnet. Vielmehr erscheint er erstmalig mit Henricus Drögen, Pastor in Eversberg von 1590 bis 1609 (Sub hoc 1590 Campana major), Kirchenbücher Eversberg, Bd. 2 S. 3.
Es folgt 1595 Caspar Dröge, Churfürstlicher Richter und kaiserlicher Notar in Eversberg. Dieser erbaute 1595 mit seiner Frau Maria "Mathsen/Matzen" Haus. Es überstand die Plünderungen und Brandschatzungen des Dreißigjährigen Krieges und ist heute das älteste erhaltene Wohngebäude in Eversberg. Haus Nr. 110 "Geschichte der Stadt Eversberg" Engel/Bruns.
Im Jahre 1609 erscheint ein Hans Dröge [932] als Eigentümer im Haus Nr. 114 Kakeln. Er nimmt den Hausnamen Kakeln zunächst mit, als er 1627 Besitzer im Haus Nr. 105 Schnuten wird. Späterhin setzt sich der Hausname "Schnuten" durch.
Während der Familienname "Dröge" in Mathsen/Matzen im 17. Jahrhundert erstirbt, erblüht um so mehr der Name Dröge aus Schnuten/Sniuten.
Mit Neveling Dröge [930], * um 1650, + am 21. Mai 1729 als "Dominus Camerarius" Senior, beginnen dann die aus den Eversberger Kirchenbüchern "nachweisbaren" familiengeschichtlichen Daten der Drögen in Eversberg.
1679 in Haus Nr. 24 "Dummen" heiratet am 15. Oktober 1679 David Dröge [] die Erbtochter Katharina Brune [] genannt Dumme. Schreibname und Hausname haben sich bis in die heutige Zeit erhalten.
1850 entstand hieraus in Haus Nr. 45 "Biärghoves" durch Lorenz Dröge [] aus Dummen und Maria Theresia Kotthoff [] eine weitere Linie.
1740 im Haus Nr. 156 "Schulten-Schnieders" heiratet am 7. Januar Johan Jörgen Dröge [1289] aus Schnuten, * 26. September 1714, + ?, Sohn von Henricus Dröge [910] und Elisabeth Veldman/Feltmans [911], die Witwe Elisabeth Nölle geb. Raulf [819] aus Schederberge. 1763 folgt der Sohn Johan Dröge [1293].
1751 in Haus Nr. 141 "Hostiers/Hostuies" (aus "Hovestadts"), heiratet Severinus Dröge [1301] aus Schnuten am 19. September 1751 die Erbtochter Anna Margaretha Trüte [1302].
1782 in Haus Nr. 110 "Mathsen/Matzen" heiratet Petrus Dröge aus Schnuten, Sohn des D. Consulis Johannis Dröge und der Theresia Enst, die Witwe des Theodor Einheuser, Anna Maria Sahse/Sasse, Tochter des Everhard Sahse/Sasse und der Anna Margaretha Dolle. Ihnen folgt 1819 der Sohn Franz Dröge, dessen Sohn Wilhelm Dröge 1865 ein Haus in der "Surmecke" (Schieferberg Nr. 5) genannt die "Tränenburg" errichtete.
1787 in Haus Nr. 63 "Duickmans" heiratet Johan Theodor Dröge aus Dummen die Erbtochter Gertrud Fröhling. Ein Carl Josef Paul Dröge aus Duickmanns heiratet 1875 in Haus Nr. 66 "Dengels" die Erbtochter Maria Carolina Hoedt.
1791 am 30. Januar heiratet der Sohn von Johan Jörgen Dröge aus Smuten und Maria Elisabeth Raulf aus Schederberge, Severinus Dröge, * 19. März 1752, + 22. Juni 1814, Anna Maria Klara Stork * 6. April 1769, + 21. März 1823 nach Hirschberg, wo er als Amtsrentmeister wirkte. Hiermit entstand eine weitere Linie "Dröge".
1846 in Haus Nr. 89 "Severins/Sieverings" heiratet am 29. Oktober der Bürger, Bäcker und Gastwirt Johannes Christian Dröge aus Hostiers/Hostuies Oststraße 13, * 9. November 182 1, + 7. Januar 1874, 8. Kind und 5. Sohn des Bürger und Brandweinfabrikanten Christian Dröge-Hostuis genannt Hosties und dessen Ehefrau Maria-Catharina Krevet aus Unnen Suimens, die Erbtochter Margaretha Eickhoff genannt Severins/Sieverings, * 8. Februar 1824, + 18. März 1894, 6. Kind und 3. Tochter des Bürger und Tuchfabrikanten Franz Eickhoff, * 12. September 1787, + 6. Juli 1848 und dessen Ehefrau Catharina Hilgenhoevel * 20. November 1789, + 19. Januar 1842 (Heirat 27. Oktober 1812). Diese Eheleute, Johannes Christian Dröge aus Hostuiers und Margaretha Eickhoff genannt Severins/Sieverings, sind die Begründer der Stammlinie Dröge-Sieverings.
Familienname und Hausname haben sich dort bis auf den heutigen Tag erhalten.
Die Ahnenreihe des Christian Dröge genannt Hostuiers läßt sich in den Eversberger Kirchenbüchern lückenlos bis Neveling Dröge genannt Snuiten um 1650 zurückverfolgen.

Wilma T. Willmann, nee Korte, 78, of Highland, Ill., born July 21, 1929, in Pocahontas, Ill., died Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Faith Countryside Homes-Faith Care Center in Highland, Ill.
Mrs. Willmann was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church-Highland, Ill., the Daughters of Isabella - Sacred Heart Circle 237; and St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary.
Wilma was born west of Pocahontas, Ill., and grew up there. She graduated from Pocahontas High School. She was employed at St. Joseph Hospital in Highland from 1946 until 2003. She began working in the Business Office and then was made the Executive Secretary in the administration office on Sept. 12, 1965, she retired on Oct. 31, 2003 after 57 years of service at the hospital. She also served as the Sub-Registrar for Vital Records in the Highland area for many, many years. She enjoyed camping with her family, as well as their motor home travels. She liked to crochet. Wilma was a very kind and generous person.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond G. Willmann, whom she married Oct. 21, 1950, and who died May 14, 1993; a son, Wray S. Willmann; her parents, William and Selma, nee Weiss, Korte; her brothers and sisters, Alberta F. Whitney, Celestine "Cele" Korte , Virgil A. Korte, Jeanette C, "Jan" Willmann, Delores C. Coleman, Richard T. Korte, and William H. Korte (as an infant.)
Surviving are her son, Terry A. (Guyda) Willmann of Mebane, N.C.; her sisters, Venita A. (Kenneth) Seifried of Highland, Ill., Cornelia "Connie" E. (Ray) Werner of Highland, Ill., and Selma E. "Sally" (Donald) Stubbs of Savannah, Ga.

He is survived by his wife, Meg, nee McKenna, Gundlach; a daughter, Maddie Gundlach and a son, Luke Gundlach, both at home; his mother, Patricia J., nee Kosar, Gundlach of Belleville, Ill.; and four brothers and two sisters, Nick (Margo) Gundlach, Karen (Mark) Sandheinrich, Kevin Gundlach, Shari (Brian) Joyce, Gerry (Sue) Gundlach, and Kris (Michelle) Gundlach.

Dr. Albert Thomas Amlung, 61, a longtime Belleville veterinarian, born Feb. 18, 1946, in Belleville, Ill., died Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, at his residence in Swansea, Ill.
Dr. Amlung received his doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois. He operated the Belleville Animal Clinic and was closely associated with the Belleville Area Humane Society. In 1972, he started as a part-time human anatomy and physiology instructor at Southwestern Illinois College, and, in 1993, became a full-time biology instructor there. He conceived the idea for a nature preserve on 50 acres at the southwestern corner of SWIC Campus and worked to make that dream become reality. It was recently dedicated as the Dr. Tom Amlung Nature Trail in his honor.
Dr. Amlung was a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA); the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association (ISVMA); the University of Illinois Alumni Association; the Society of Microbiologists; and Greenspace. He served as Swansea Police Commissioner and was a member of the Belleville Rotary Club. Dr. Tom was a member of Westview Baptist Church, Swansea, Ill., and served as a teacher there for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert T. and Florence, nee Peter, Amlung.
He is survived by his wife, Carol, nee Smith, Amlung; a daughter, Jennifer Ashley of Belleville, Ill.; a son, Matthew Amlung of Swansea, Ill.; four granddaughters, Emma and Rachel Ashley and Emily and Lauren Amlung; and a sister, Kay Harriman of Belleville, Ill.
